Role of the PCC and his/her Office:

I could set this out on a very busy page or then again I could direct you to the official page for the election that has it all .

In line with my wish to avoid unnecessary expense the best page to investigate this is  here for the practical stuff and here for the PCC roles. There is much more out there on the web. The role is huge and, of course, very important.

The fact that many people do not know the role of the PCC and its importance to our communities is a failure of the system. I do not know how people are meant to ask for the help they are entitled to if they do not know about the PCC and their staff. 

This is another change that is needed. The PCC needs to be 'out there' so that ordinary people are aware of the role and what should be achieved through it. I hope to make the role more relevant for many more people. How else can it help to bring about change for our communities?
